     Jay Flatt was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Attended  Lockeland Elementary, Castle Heights Academy, Meigs Jr High, Cameron Jr High and McGavock High School. 

After a brief stint at University of Tennessee at Nashville, he went to work for the State of Tennessee Department of Revenue. In 1977 he took a position of vice president with his father's company  M. D. Flatt Inc.

     In 1999 Jay started his new career in Real Estate with ERA Johnson & Thompson LLC. With his vast knowledge of the real estate market and a knack for understanding people, he works tirelessly to meet and exceed his client’s expectations. With a deep-seated passion for real estate and an appreciation for family, Jay brings a wealth of personal experience to serve clients in the Middle Tennessee region.
